Keep it simple - Measure left to right in feet all the cabinets you think you will have in the new design that sit on the floor including island, peninsula, and tall cabinets of any kind. You're measuring all the fronts of cabinet, not the backs of cabinets - only where there are doors and/or drawers. You may need to measure both sides of the island if it has doors/drawer on both sides. If you're adding cabinets then just add in the number of feet of those since you can't actually measure them now. If you are finding these instructions confusing, just enter 20 for small kitchen, 30 for typical kitchen, 40 for large, 50 for very large.
Now measure left to right in feet all the cabinets you think you will have that hang on the wall plus tall cabinets of any kind. Ignore top row stackers. If you're finding these instructions confusing, just enter 10 less than you entered for the Base Cabinets above.
